In 2002 Mr GG – the creative force behind Giantto's line of signature Swiss Movement timepieces—debuted his distinctive interpretation of the modern timepiece with the launch of the Giantto Horology Collection, the culmination of many lifetimes of experience, artistry and tradition. Each timepiece was meant to articulate GG's bold, declaritive statement of modern individuality with grace and sophistication.
Mr. GG's involvement with the Von Dutch Watch has been motivated by his admiration and respect for Mr. Howard's artwork, and also in part because of the parallels that he sees between their respective lives and careers. Both men are indebted in part to their father's artistic legacies, and both understand the timelesss beauty and power of exquisite metal work. "I'm a mechanic first."
